Meet Our Team

Ally Copenhaver - Head Coach
I am a Fayetteville native moving here when I was just two years old! I found CrossFit 7 years ago, after tearing my ACL while playing volleyball. My PT introduced me to the sport and trained me using CrossFit methodology all through my career as a collegiate athlete. CrossFit not only changed my game physically, but it also changed me mentally and emotionally. It was the first time where someone looked me in the eyes and told me "go eat more food". My favorite part of coaching is watching that same healing happen for others physically, mentally, and emotionally.
My favorite movement is the Dumbbell Snatch. My least Favorite Movement: Thrusters

Stephanie Frewen - Coach
I used to play roller derby and I have all the aches and pains to show for it My pets are the most important thing in the world to me. If I haven't told you about my cats yet, please let me know so we can remedy this. My husband has been doing CrossFit for well over a decade, and got me hooked back in 2018. My favorite part of being a coach is seeing lightbulbs turn on in athletes' heads when everything starts to click and make more sense. I also love spending time with these amazing people. Not all days are good days outside the gym, but being part of a supportive community means I always have kind faces to talk with, laugh with, and sweat with. My favorite CrossFit movement is anything I'm good at. And my least favorites are everything I'm bad at, and anything that hurts my shoulders/neck/knees.. Did I tell you I used to play roller derby?

Brian Killinger - Coach
I recently moved to Fayetteville from Michigan after completing my Bachelors Degree in Exercise Science and a Masters Degree in Athletic Training from Adrian College. After graduation, I also obtained the CSCS and USAW certifications. My full time job is working as a certified Athletic Trainer for the U.S Army.
I started CrossFit in 2018 to continue my love and drive of competition following a collegiate baseball career. My love for coaching began after I noticed the impact a coach can have on others not only in the gym, but in their life. Sharing knowledge to help others reach their goals is something I enjoy the most about being a coach.
My favorite CrossFit movements is anything heavy… and least favorite is ring muscle ups.

Matt Tse - Coach
When it comes to fitness, the reality is that real results require hard work, determination, and a personalized approach that fits your specific lifestyle and goals. I’m here to bring it all together so that you can get a comprehensive, customized fitness experience where you can finally see the results you’ve been working towards.

Zac Burton - Coach
My name is Zac Burton, I am a husband and father to a baby girl and two energetic little boys; we also have a crazy puppy named Lilly. I am an Army Veteran and REALTOR. I am originally from Colorado Springs and began CrossFit there in 2012, but now call North Carolina home. I like to travel with my family and go on many adventures. Aside from that, I like to compete, shoot guns, read, play video games, and play guitar. I am passionate about helping others in various aspects but mostly through fitness and real estate. My favorite CrossFit movements are bar and ring muscle ups and my least favorite are thrusters and wall balls. The best part of coaching for me is when an athlete realizes their potential, believes in themselves, and achieves their goal! I am most proud of my loving and supportive family. The experiences I have had in life helped me develop a strong mindset, remain goal oriented, and have fun!

Juan Torre - Coach
I’m from Fayetteville, currently work as a construction worker for in ground pools. Hobbies include camping/hiking/fishing. No pets, no kids, youngest of five. I got into CrossFit because I decided one day I wanted to try it. I’ve been doing it for almost 2 years now. Favorite part about being a coach is sharing my love of fitness with like minded athletes. My favorite movement is probably the power clean and least is the snatch. Something I’m most proud of is becoming a coach and being able to learn and help others through fitness.

Hayes Lowth - Coach
I am originally from Meredith, New Hampshire and have been in the Army for 6 years now. I grew up downhill ski racing, competing for over 20 years at the collegiate and national level. I also enjoy, hunting, fishing, hiking, and really anything outside.
I have been married to my wife Rachel for 4 years and she is also in the Army and currently lives in Nashville.
A friend of mine got me into CrossFit 3 years ago and I fell in love with it and have been doing it ever since. My favorite CrossFit movement is anything Olympic lifting and by far my least favorite movement is wall walks.

Kacie Vanover - CF Kids Coach
Heyo from Coach Kacie! I'm a former nurse from Keller, TX and am now a stay-at-home-mom who loves volunteering, especially in the foster/adoption community! I enjoy reading, long naps, and starting new projects and quickly abandoning them. My husband, 2 kiddos, pup, and I love going on camping trips and adventures together.
In 2011 my husband discovered CrossFit while he was bored out of his mind waiting to start active duty. I couldn't let him have all the fun and quickly jumped in with both feet. My favorite memories in CrossFit have all been at competitions. I love cheering on other competitors and the feeling of hitting a PR with everyone screaming at me.
Specifically I love overhead movements (snatches, overhead squats, etc.). If I never did another rope climb, it'd be too soon.
My favorite part of coaching is seeing that "click" when someone finally understands a movement, especially when it's one they've been working on. And I absolutely love coaching kiddos! Their energy is just so contagious!
